Long Term Chinese Training Program

1. Programs are divided into beginner, medium and advanced level

*Compulsory courses：Comprehensive Chinese, Oral Chinese, Chinese Listening, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, Chinese Culture, Intercultural Communication and Language Practice.

*Optional courses：Chinese Traditional Health-care Sports(Taiji, Martial Arts etc), Diet and Herbal Therapy, Health-care of Chinese Medicine, Chinese Cooking, Chinese Calligraphy and Painting.

2.Duration：Above 1 semester (5 months) and below 1 year

3.Opening Date：February28 and September5, 2011

4.Deadline of Application：January21 and July8, 2011

Short Term Chinese Training Program

1. Flexible programs are arranged based on beginner, medium and advanced level

*Compulsory courses: Intensive Chinese, Daily Chinese Conversation, Chinese Listening

*Optional courses: Chinese Traditional Health-care Sports(Taiji, Martial Arts etc), Diet and Herbal Therapy, Health-care of Chinese Medicine, Chinese Cooking, Chinese Calligraphy and Painting, Chinese Culture, Intercultural Communication.

2. Duration: Above 1 week and below 1 semester (5 months)

                                                                                                                 

l        Certificate of completion will be awarded in the end of the program.

l        Application documents：

*Passport copy *CV (resume)   *3 passport photos *Application fee/deposit in traveler’s check

*Application form 

l        Minimum students：Each program needs to have at least 5 students; otherwise, it may be cancelled.

l        Fees(in Chinese Yuan)

* Application fee/deposit：400 Yuan (NOT refundable if student cancels study)

*Tuition：Long term 8000Yuan/semester (including 400 Yuan application fee/deposit)

               Short term (including 400 Yuan application fee/deposit)

*Textbook：Around 200 Yuan/set

*Insurance (for long term program) Students of 6 months’ (or above) study are required to buy insurance (600 Yuan/year or 300 Yuan /half year) in China. More details can be found.  Students may also provide documents (original and copy) of home-bought insurance which can cover their study in China.

*Campus dorm: 12000 Yuan/year/standard room (Long term)
