General Course Statement:
Formula of Chinese Medicine is one of the main courses of Chinese medicine, which main direction of the research is the study on the law of the compatibility of TCM prescriptions in the past dynasties, prescriptions, therapy and clinical research. In the teaching, we emphasize that the treatments and prescriptions are headed by the therapy which is made according to the disease syndromes.After learning this course, learners will have a preliminary knowledge of herbal prescriptions and the ability of compounding prescription.

General Course Statement:
Jin Kui Yao Lue, belongs to miscellaneous diseases, which is part of Shang Han Za Bing Lun (Treatise on Cold Diseases and Miscellaneous Diseases, written by Zhongjing Zhang, the famous medicalist in the East Han Dynasty). Jin Kui Yao Lue is also the earliest and the most important monograph on diagnosing and treating diseases in TCM, which has been honored as the "forerunner" of prescription books. It contains basic theories of Chinese medicine and is featured by clinical subjects. Jin Kui Yao Lue is the backbone course of learning TCM, which plays a particular role in bringing about a great advance in clinical treatment and enabling the comprehensive analysis capability of treating hypochondria and refractory disease.

General Course Statement:
Nei Jing is the basic education of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Any Basic theories of TCM (Yin-yang and Five-element, theory of essential qi, and etiology and pathogenesis) are based on the Basic theories of Chinese medicine. This course is one of the four famous classical works of TCM and is profound in word expression, which absorbs the best of multi-disciplinary and is the most cited classic in TCM literature. Through studying this course, learners will improve their reading skills of TCM classics and solve difficulties in reading TCM literature. This course not only develops learners’ analytical thinking in TCM clinical syndromes and symptoms but also has a very strong theoretical guidance in TCM research.

Acupuncture is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It’s not only based on the basic theory of TCM, but also has its own unique theory and technology system. This course is a curriculum of high comprehensiveness and practicality. It provides traditional Chinese medicine majors the acupuncture theory and acupuncture practical skills. It aims at training the practical talents who have the experience of clinical practice. Massage Manipulation is one of the main courses of undergraduate teaching for acupuncture and Tuina majors and it is an important basic subject of Tuina with the characteristics of practical, technical and operable. This course is a prerequisite for training qualified Tuina specialists. After learning this course, students can master the skills of Tuina manipulation, which may meet the traditional Tuina requirements of eight Chinese words that is that manipulation should be permanent, soft, even, and forceful. The Tuina manipulation should have the function of penetrating as well. It lays a solid foundation for further clinical Tuina subject.
